Project duration – Permanent Role

5 days / week

8 hours / day

Job Description:

1. The works herein by the Operations Specialists shall be under the direct supervision and instruction of the COMPANY as Representative.

2. Present on-site in a daily basis at each of the five control center locations.

3. Continuous daily system monitoring and configuration to detect, track, and trace errors.

4. Extract, analyze, and review of system operational reports.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve the various system-related issues.

6. Adjust, tune, examine, and validate the system equipment parameters or models.

7. Ensure the correct representation of network modelling, including storage batteries and renewable energy sources, within the system.

8. Ensure that the State Estimator application produces valid solutions.

9. Ensure to evaluate the data integrity, model accuracy, telemetry quality to support a more reliable and optimized system.

10. Provide the continuous improvement, initiatives and transferring knowledge to the Company’s engineering and operation teams.

11. Assist in analyzing the exceptional system cases and documenting them accordingly.

12. Lead in building the different grid system blackout and restoration conditions training scenarios with the Company’s engineers

13. Extract and evaluate the results of operational studies focused on system stability and reliability.

14. Coordinate with GE (e-terra Platform Developer) experts to report and find solutions to different system architecture failures.

15. Provide the required operational policies and procedures, and training program on how to operate and maintain the advanced power system applications.

16. Other related real-time operational works.

Candidate must have experience in the range of 20 years plus and meeting the above requirements.
