SME – Cybersecurity Qualys Vulnerability management

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

· Lead the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of the Qualys Vulnerability Management platform and other related modules.

· Manage the full vulnerability lifecycle, from scanning and detection to assessment, prioritization, and remediation coordination.

· Act as the main subject matter expert (SME) for Qualys and vulnerability management, providing technical guidance to IT, security, and application teams, and assisting with incident response efforts.

· Extensive hands-on experience with the Qualys Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response (VMDR) platform

· Analyze scan results, validate vulnerabilities, and develop reports and metrics to communicate the organization’s risk posture to stakeholders.

Required skills and experience:

· Extensive hands-on experience with the Qualys Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response (VMDR) platform and other modules is essential.

· 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management or related Security Operations (SecOps) roles.
