Test Engineer/Embedded software Testing/Automotive Testing

Job Description

Strong Technical expert and Hands-on experience to debug issues with HIL Bench & vehicle.
Expertise in embedded software development and
Validation, ability to work in following technical environment:
Scripting languages: Python, CAPL
experience in modern software development processes: backlog refinement and management, testing (unit tests, behavior tests, integration tests, test-driven development, testing tools and frameworks), Continuous Integration (task automation, Jenkins, flows, merge gates), code reviews, environment scripting and automation.
Delivering tested code, test scenario content written in Python and most popular testing frameworks
Familiar with CAN and Flashing tools o Support resolution of open issues, flashing of ECU and product testing at customer site
Knowledge of coding guidelines and rules, e.g. MISRA-C
Knowledge of SW Integration and Qualification Testing
Experience with the common SW development processes (ASPICE, Scrum) and Automotive Software
Knowledge of tools: Vector CANoe Compiler, Linker, Debugger knowledge
LIN knowledge o Experience with SW version, requirements and change management tools like Git/Gerrit, Jira, Polarion · Hardware related skills: Understanding of schematics, working with oscilloscope ·
Supports the Build and Integration Engineer on Software builds/releases and the corresponding Software tests · Responsibility for providing information about software quality and traceability ·
Has a total responsibility for the Quality of the feature/product/ component. · Automotive Embedded SWC Development lifecycle experience
ADAS (preferrable), BCM domain experience
Vehicle Diagnostics (UDS ISO14229 and OBD ISO15765-2) experience – Faults, DIDs, RIDs, DTCs
Knowledge of Various communication Protocols (CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, LIN, SPI etc.)
Expertise in Embedded C programming
Expertise in Software debugging – Issue resolution, reporting, triage and status tracking · Understand CAN and Flexray communication, Vehicle
diagnostic, Ethernet communication, Embedded Multicore OS
Vector Tools – CANoe, Canalyzer, CANAPE/INCA
Experience on new age multi core microcontrollers – TDA , NXP, Tricore, Renesas etc
