Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise all yacht charter operations, including bookings, scheduling, charter execution, captains, crew, and dockyard coordination.
• Ensure yachts are fully prepared, clean, licensed, compliant, and operational at all times in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Handle client communication, inquiries, onboard coordination, and issue resolution to ensure high service standards and repeat business.
• Take full hands-on responsibility for yacht registration processes, licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance with all relevant government authorities and marine agencies.
• Liaise with government departments, maritime authorities, and service providers to duly obtain, renew, monitor, and maintain all operational licenses, registrations, approvals, and general permits, ensuring they remain valid, current, and up to date at all times.
• Ensure timely issuance, renewal, and continuous validity of charter permits, sailing permissions, and company operational approvals to avoid any disruption to operations.
• Monitor, control, and supervise all chartering activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate fuel usage, maintenance schedules, servicing, cleaning, polishing, and technical readiness of yachts.
• Support sales activities through operational coordination, charter follow-ups, and client conversion support.
• Maintain accurate operational, compliance, and documentation records.
• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, performance, and training requirements.
• Resolve daily operational challenges efficiently to prevent service disruption.
• Support marketing initiatives, partnerships, and business development activities as required.
• Provide regular operational and performance updates to management.
Candidate Requirements
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in yacht rental, boat charter, marina operations, or marine tourism.
• Strong practical understanding of Dubai yacht charter regulations, registration procedures, licensing, and permit requirements.
• Proven ability to manage operations, maintenance coordination, crew supervision, and charter execution.
• Experience dealing with dockyards, maritime authorities, and government agencies.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).
• Responsible, confident, disciplined, and trustworthy, with a solid understanding of the field.
• Suitable for candidates currently in junior or mid-level positions seeking progression into a senior management role.
