Job Description
Conduct thorough inspections of welded joints and structures to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Utilize advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as ultrasonic and radiographic testing, to evaluate weld integrity.
Document and report inspection findings with precise measurements, observations, and photographs for quality control records.
Collaborate closely with welding engineers and fabricators to provide immediate feedback on welding processes and techniques.
Ensure that all welding personnel are qualified and adhere to the established safety protocols and standards.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and welding procedure specifications (WPS) to guide inspection activities.
Participate in root cause analysis of welding defects and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in codes, standards, and best practices related to welding inspection.
Facilitate training sessions for welders and other personnel on welding standards and inspection criteria.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing welding practices and safety.

Degree or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution #CSWIP 3.1 certification or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience for candidates holding an Engineering Degree & Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience for candidates holding an Engineering Diploma
