Perform surface preparation assessments and report findings to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity of coatings.
Utilize various NDT methods, like ultrasonic thickness measurements, to evaluate coating integrity and report anomalies.
Monitor environmental conditions during coating application to ensure compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
Document inspection results meticulously, including photographic evidence to support findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with contractors and project managers to address any compliance issues promptly and effectively.
Conduct routine audits of coating processes to ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols.
Remain current with industry standards and evolving technologies to enhance inspection practices.
Train and mentor junior inspectors in best practices and safety standards within the coating inspection field.
Assist in developing project-specific inspection plans tailored to unique coating applications.

Diploma, Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Any, Civil)
Male
A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in coating inspection in industrial or construction settings.
Relevant certifications such as NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 or SSPC PCI are highly desirable to validate expertise.
A degree in materials science, engineering, or a related field is preferred for a foundational understanding of coatings.
Familiarity with international coating standards, including ISO and ASTM, to ensure compliance across projects.
Proficiency in using inspection tools such as wet film gauges, dry film thickness gauges, and holiday detectors.
Strong analytical skills to assess coating defects and recommend corrective actions effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Physical stamina to perform field inspections in varying environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in additional languages is a plus to facilitate international collaboration.
