Job Description
Design overhead transmission line (OHTL) projects, ensuring compliance with ARAMCO electrical standards and safety regulations.
Perform detailed calculations for conductor selection, sag and tension analysis, and insulator string design, optimizing for efficiency and reliability under varying environmental conditions.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess terrain, existing infrastructure, and environmental factors, informing design decisions and identifying potential challenges.
Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, drawings, and reports for OHTL projects, ensuring clear communication of design intent and facilitating accurate construction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, environmental specialists, and construction contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment for OHTL projects, considering factors such as cost, performance, and availability.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential hazards associated with OHTL construction and operation.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in OHTL technology and industry best practices, continuously improving design methodologies and project execution.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, fostering their professional development and contributing to team knowledge.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Electronics/Telecomunication)
Male
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a strong emphasis on power systems.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in the design of overhead transmission lines.
Proven experience with design softwares.
Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Demonstrates proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to travel to project sites, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions and willingness to relocate.
Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports.
