Mechanical Technician Supervisor

Job Description

Must have experience in blown film extrusion /flexo printing machine.

· Knowledge of equipment drawings, Manuals & manuals and using spare part lists to ensure that correct parts or adequate substitutes are installed.

Carries out routine preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment according to schedules, results of visual inspection, check lists and specific equipment requirements.
Operates a variety of machine tools to manufacture, refurbish and repair machinery parts or equipment by fabrication.
Reinforce quality systems and quality programs by personal example, define responsibility and clear accountability.
Carries out daily routine maintenance of machinery and equipment. Includes daily cleaning and oiling of machinery.
Be on call as required to cover maintenance/breakdown weekend and night time duty coverage.
Works according to well defined procedures and craft standards. Supervisor keeps advised of work progress and spot checks important work or checks at completion for routine assignment.
