Job Title: Purchase Assistant with Storekeeping

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant with Storekeeping experience to support our procurement and inventory management operations. This role will be responsible for assisting with the purchasing of goods, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring efficient storage and handling of inventory within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Purchasing:
Assist in the procurement process by raising purchase orders based on inventory requirements and stock levels.
Work with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and quality assurance of goods.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure that purchasing orders are placed to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Ensure that goods purchased are delivered in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
Monitor stock levels at branches and reorder as necessary to avoid shortages.
Storekeeping & Inventory Management:
Oversee the receiving and inspection of goods upon delivery, ensuring they match the purchase orders.
Store products in an organized manner, ensuring easy retrieval and efficient warehouse management.
Maintain inventory records, ensuring accurate stock counts and conducting regular stock audits.
Organize stock rotation to prevent inventory from becoming obsolete, expired, or damaged.
Manage the preparation of materials for internal use and ensure that all stock is stored according to proper safety and organization protocols.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient and safe movement of goods within the store.
Assist with the proper documentation for incoming and outgoing Items.
Ensure that all items are correctly labeled and packaged for distribution.
Support the coordination for the delivery of goods.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, deliveries, and inventory levels.
Assist in preparing purchase reports, stock reports, and monthly inventory status.
Ensure all relevant documentation is filed accurately and is easily accessible for auditing purposes.

Indian

Bachelor of Commerce, Any Graduation

Male

Qualifications:

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, and storekeeping/inventory management.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software, Excel, or other database tools).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
