Job Description
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper safety protocols are followed on-site.
Collaborate with management to prepare safety reports and maintain accurate records of safety activities and incidents.
Participate in safety meetings and provide input on safety policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety.
Assist in emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential safety incidents.
Support the safety officer in developing risk assessments and safety plans tailored to specific job tasks and environments.
Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
Promote awareness of safety issues through effective communication and engagement with employees at all levels.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Bachelor of Science
Male
Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent safety qualification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in safety, health, or environmental roles, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
Knowledge of local safety regulations and standards, with a strong understanding of risk management principles.
Proficiency in using safety management software and tools to streamline reporting and compliance monitoring.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and implement effective safety measures.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey safety information to diverse audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Physical capability to conduct site inspections and participate in emergency response activities as required.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also taking initiative and working independently.
A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement in safety practices and willingness to learn.
