QS- Estimation Engineer – Fitout

Job Description

Perform detailed cost estimation for construction projects, ensuring accuracy in quantities and pricing.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
Prepare comprehensive tender documents and assist in the pre-qualification of contractors.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to achieve the best value for the project.
Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and provide regular financial reports.
Utilize specialized software tools for cost estimation and project tracking to enhance efficiency.
Conduct site visits to gather accurate data for cost analysis and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and labor rates to inform estimation processes.
Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to ensure transparency and clarity in cost-related matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil)

Any

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction industry.
Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent is highly desirable.
Proficient in estimation software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar tools for accurate calculations.
