Job Description

Looking for Finance person experienced in international trade and Letter of credit in a trading company in DMCC office in JLT. Having 3 to 5 years’ experience in Finance Department of International trading industry is a must. Candidate should be available to join immediately or within a week max.

➢ Preferred Indian nationality only. Visa will be provided.

➢ Handle Export & Import LC and Collection Document checking

➢ Handle of Import & Export documents presented under Letter of credit

➢ To ensure all Trade Transactions are accurately processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of LC, UCP600, URR725, Incoterm and ISBP745

➢ To perform scrutiny of documents presented under Letter of credit.

➢ Advise of Discrepancy to the presenter.

➢ Liaison with company bank, buyers & sellers along with their bank for all LC & banking related matters.

➢ Prepare Sale Purchase contract, Import & export documentation

➢ Adherence to company’s policy, compliance check and client requirement.

➢ Successful and timely processing and control of all transactions within time frames.

➢ To ensure all transactions are processed as per Bank policy and procedures

➢ Perform thorough screening of all parties involved in transactions to ensure regulatory compliance.

➢ Prepare detailed MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for clients and products; including tracking of receivables and payables.

➢ Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports. (tally knowledge preferable)

➢ Compile and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

➢ Knowledge of LC and back-to-back preparation of documents.

➢ Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment activities, negotiations, and reimbursement claims while ensuring accurate documentation, including dispatch calculations.

➢ Analyse, follow up, and managed queries from branches during transaction processes, resolving issues and updating clients regarding swift messages sent to overseas banks.

➢ Reporting and Internal Control.

➢ Manage transactions and documents (Insurance, legal etc.) requirements to support business objectives.

➢ Effectively manage logistics, coordinate import & export of cargos, plan supply chain operations & shipments.
