Job Description
• A Microwave Rigger is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of microwave communication equipment on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, physical fitness, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Installation:
• Assemble, install, and align microwave antennas, transceivers, waveguides, and other related equipment.
• Climb towers and other structures to access equipment for installation and maintenance.
• Connect and terminate cables and fiber optic connections.
• Configure and test microwave equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Maintenance:
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on microwave equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment.
• Replace damaged or worn-out components.
• Optimize system performance by adjusting settings and alignments.
Safety:
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct pre-job safety assessments and risk assessments.
• Participate in safety training and certifications.
Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance and system health.
• Qualifications:
Experience:
• Proven experience in microwave installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of RF principles and microwave technology.
• Experience working at heights, including climbing towers and rooftops.
Certifications:
• Valid certifications in tower climbing, first aid, and CPR.
• Additional certifications in RF safety and other relevant areas may be required.
Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work long hours and irregular shifts.

Secondary School(Technical, Vocational), Intermediate School

Male

Other requirement
• Saudi Driving license (or Any other GCC country license)
• Experience in GCC will be preferred.
Preferred technical skills
• Tower Climbing: Tower climber
• Antenna Installation: Alignment, polarization, and levelling
• Cable Installation: Fiber optic, coaxial, and waveguide
• RF Testing: Signal strength, frequency response, and error rate
• RF Tools: Spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes
• Safety Equipment: Harness, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
