Electromechanical Engineer MEP
Job Description
An Electromechanical MEP Engineer in a feed mill is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure efficient feed production.
Designing and implementing MEP systems for feed mill operations, including conveyors, motors, HVAC, and water supply.
Selecting appropriate electrical panels, motors, and automation systems for optimal performance.
Ensuring proper installation of mechanical and electrical equipment like crushers, mixers, and pelletizers.
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, motor failures, PLC issues, and other mechanical breakdowns.
Ensuring the proper functioning of pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
Monitoring energy consumption and optimizing the use of power, water, and compressed air.
Implementing energy-saving measures in electrical and mechanical systems.
Ensuring that all MEP installations comply with local safety codes and industry standards.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures for electrical panels, motors, and wiring.
Coordinating with production, maintenance, and procurement teams for spare parts and system upgrades.
Preparing technical reports, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
Working with PLC, SCADA, and automation systems to improve feed mill efficiency.
Troubleshooting sensor, actuator, and control panel issues.

Mechanical Systems: Gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Plumbing Systems: Water supply, steam, compressed air, drainage
Automation & Control: PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, sensors & actuators
CAD Software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks for MEP layout design
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Preventive & corrective maintenance techniques
Applicants must have 3+ Years relevant experience in the feed mill industry to be considered for this role.
