Instrument Calibration Engineer

Job Description

Calibrate and maintain a wide range of instrumentation used in industrial processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Develop and implement calibration procedures and protocols, tailored to specific equipment and regulatory requirements.
Document calibration activities meticulously, maintaining accurate records in compliance with quality assurance and regulatory standards.
Train and mentor junior calibration technicians, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure all calibration equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and traceable to national or international standards.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings related to calibration practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Diploma(Electronics, Engineering), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electronics/Telecomunication, Instrumentation)

Any

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation calibration within an industrial environment.
Experience in the oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing industries is a plus, showcasing adaptability to different environments.
Proficiency in calibration software and data analysis tools to streamline calibration processes and reporting.
Strong technical knowledge of various types of sensors, transmitters, and control systems is essential.
Effective communication skills in English; additional language proficiency can be an advantage in multi-national environments.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating leadership potential.
Physical ability to handle equipment and perform tasks in various industrial settings, including confined spaces and elevated platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot instrumentation/calibration issues, have expertise in the relevant field, provide technical support to clients, be flexible to work in different environments based on job demands, etc.
