HTV Driver

Job Description

Safely operate HTV vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any issues or changes in delivery plans.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly concerning safety and compliance.
Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with fellow drivers and warehouse staff to promote a team-oriented environment.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Arab National, Indian, Filipino, Pakistani

Secondary School, Diploma

Male

Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or transportation management preferred.
2+ years of experience as a commercial driver, with a solid track record of safety and reliability.
Proficient in using GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDs) for route navigation and compliance.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages, sometimes exceeding 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges on the road.
