Tableau Developer

Job Description

Design, develop, and publish advanced Tableau dashboards and reports.
Connect Tableau to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, cloud data platforms, etc.).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs.
Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Create calculated fields, parameters, filters, sets, and groups for dynamic visualizations.
Work closely with Data Engineering and Business teams to ensure data accuracy.
Implement data security using Tableau’s row-level security.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau reports and performance.
Provide end-user training and support.
Desired Candidate Profile

Indian

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering

Male

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
Strong SQL skills and experience in data extraction and transformation.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance.
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R is a bonus.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
