Job Description

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
Train employees on EHS protocols and procedures, ensuring they understand their roles in maintaining a safe work environment.
Collaborate with management to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies for identified environmental and health hazards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring timely reporting of incidents and compliance with all necessary regulations.
Lead incident investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, preparing detailed reports to track progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulations, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in emergency response planning and drills, ensuring that employees are prepared for potential workplace incidents.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any European National, American (US)

Bachelor of Science

Male

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is essential.
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in EHS coordination or management within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, NEBOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable and demonstrate commitment to EHS excellence.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset in diverse workplace environments.
Proficient in using EHS management software and tools for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively convey safety information and influence change.
Physical ability to conduct site inspections, which may involve walking, climbing, or lifting equipment as necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
