Job Description

Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the IGCSE Mathematics curriculum, ensuring alignment with international standards.
Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where diverse learning needs are met through differentiated instruction.
Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding of mathematical concepts.
Organize and oversee math-related extracurricular activities, such as math clubs or competitions, to encourage student interest and participation.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance, ensuring timely communication with parents regarding academic progress.
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with other subjects.
Stay updated with the latest educational research and pedagogical strategies to continuously improve teaching methods.
Participate actively in professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching effectiveness and subject knowledge.
Guide students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through real-world applications of mathematics.

* Bachelor’s degree in Education

* 5 years’ experience out of which minimum 2 years in IGCSE, AS and A level

* Good English & communications skills

* International experience will be an added advantage.
