Job Description

Perform Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) on pipeline welds using systems such as GE Weldstar, Olympus PipeWizard, or equivalent

· Set up, calibrate, and maintain AUT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing.

· Interpret and analyze ultrasonic test data to identify defects, inconsistencies, or discontinuities.

· Coordinate and communicate effectively with Site Engineers, Supervisors, NDT team leads, and project stakeholders.

· Ensure all NDT operations are performed by applicable standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO)

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) Technician to join our team for a pipeline project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-destructive testing (NDT), specifically Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD), with hands-on experience in pipeline inspection.

The AUT Technician will be responsible for executing ultrasonic inspections on pipeline welds and components, ensuring full compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / High School (10th Pass). Also certified in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II or equivalent, with practical experience in AUT techniques (PAUT/TOFD).
Basic proficiency in English (speaking and writing) is required to ensure clear communication and reporting.
