Job Description

Lead geotechnical investigations and analyses, ensuring rigorous data collection and interpretation to support engineering decisions.
Oversee the design and execution of site-specific geotechnical studies, including slope stability, foundation design, and earth retention systems.
Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that geotechnical deliverables are met on schedule and within financial constraints.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers and environmental specialists, to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project designs.
Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and presentations for stakeholders, clearly communicating complex technical information.
Develop and implement quality control procedures for geotechnical testing and reporting to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Ensure compliance with local and international geotechnical standards, regulations, and best practices throughout project lifecycles.
Mentor and train junior geotechnical staff, fostering professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
Conduct site assessments and evaluations to identify potential geotechnical hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
Stay updated with advancements in geotechnical engineering technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor of Science(Geology)

A Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field, providing a strong foundation in soil mechanics and foundation design.
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering, demonstrating a history of successful project management.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification, showcasing a recognized level of expertise and commitment to the profession.
Experience in the construction industry, specifically in large-scale projects, where geotechnical challenges were a primary focus.
Fluency in English, with additional language skills preferred for enhancing communication in diverse project environments.
Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools for advanced modeling and analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective troubleshooting of complex geotechnical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaboration with various stakeholders and team members.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and driving projects to successful completion.
A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and environmental sustainability in all geotechnical practices.
