Job Description
The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all materials, workmanship, and processes meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. This includes the inspection, testing, and documentation of construction or manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and understand project specifications, drawings, and standards.
Prepare and implement the project-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process activities, and finished works.
Perform and witness tests as per relevant standards and project requirements.
Monitor the implementation of the quality management system on site or in the factory.
Coordinate with the site/project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when deviations are identified and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate quality records, including inspection reports, test reports, material certificates, and calibration records.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Provide technical support and guidance on quality issues.
Liaise with the client or consultant representatives for inspection and approvals.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to during quality activities.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, ASME, API, ISO).
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001).
Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QC software/tools.
