Job Description
Rapidly assess and stabilize patients experiencing acute medical crises, ensuring timely interventions.
Perform advanced life support procedures, including intubation and cardioversion, to manage life-threatening conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for trauma and emergency cases.
Utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests to inform treatment decisions and refine patient management.
Develop and implement treatment plans for a diverse patient population, addressing both medical and psychological needs.
Educate patients and families on health management, emergency procedures, and follow-up care post-discharge.
Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, conferences, and research to stay current in the field.
Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training to ensure readiness for mass casualty incidents.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for legal compliance and continuity of care.
Mentor and supervise medical trainees and junior staff, fostering their growth and proficiency in emergency medicine.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Preferred experience in trauma care or critical care settings, with exposure to diverse patient demographics.
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure efficient patient documentation.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or another language relevant to the patient population.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during high-stress situations.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Physical stamina to manage long shifts and the ability to perform procedures requiring dexterity and focus.
