Electrical engineer (DUBAI MUNICIPALITY APPROVED)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with Dubai Municipality (DM) approval to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical works to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and review electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in accordance with DEWA and DM regulations.
Prepare load schedules, single line diagrams (SLDs), and electrical layout drawings.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Submit and follow up on Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other authority approvals for electrical designs.
Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to resolve any electrical issues.
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
Prepare project documentation, BOQs, technical specifications, and reports.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the UAE, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
Dubai Municipality (DM) approved Electrical Engineer (valid license/certification required).
Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations, UAE codes, and international electrical standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, ETAP, and MS Office.
Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
UAE driving license preferred.
Willing and able to travel for long-term project assignments to KSA or other international/local locations as required by the company.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
Familiarity with RTA, Trakhees, and Civil Defense submission processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
