Job Description
The Advanced NDT Level III Specialist is responsible for providing expert-level technical guidance and oversight in advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques. This role ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and industry best practices while supporting project execution, procedure development, personnel training, and auditing of NDT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical authority on advanced NDT methods, particularly PAUT and TOFD, IRIS, MFL and ET.
Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures in accordance with international standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, API, EN).
Conduct qualification and certification of NDT Level I and II personnel according to SNT-TC-1A, ISO 9712, or equivalent.
Provide technical support to field inspectors and resolve complex inspection issues.
Interpret and evaluate NDT results and issue final reports.
Participate in client and third-party audits and inspections as the Level III representative.
Monitor compliance with HSE and quality standards during inspection activities.
Perform periodic training, mentoring, and evaluation of NDT technicians.
Lead trouble-shooting and root cause analysis in the case of inspection anomalies or equipment issues.
Support procedure validation, pre-job planning, and mock-ups for complex inspection scopes.

Qualifications & Certifications:
Certified Level III in UT,PAUT, TOFD and ET (ASNT, PCN, ISO 9712, or equivalent) post certification 3+ years of working experience .
Additional Level III certification in MT,PT,VT and RT .
Valid training in Welding, Metallurgy, or Engineering discipline (preferred).
Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, API, EN, ISO.
Proficiency in data interpretation software (e.g., Olympus OmniScan, TomoView, ES BeamTool).
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in NDT with at least 5 years in advanced techniques (PAUT/TOFD).
Demonstrated ability to lead inspection teams and interface with clients and engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
Experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas, refinery, and structural inspection environments.
Work Environment:
Combination of field and office work; may require travel to project sites.
Requires use of advanced NDT equipment, data analysis software, and protective PPE.
