Job Description

Product Knowledge

Develop in-depth understanding of the cooking oil varieties offered (e.g., vegetable oil, sunflower oil, palm oil, etc.).

Be aware of key features: health benefits, packaging sizes, shelf life, certifications, and pricing.

Customer Acquisition

Identify and approach potential buyers including wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, restaurants, and catering services.

Generate and qualify new leads through field visits, calls, and referrals.

Sales Target Achievement

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure continuous business.

Order Management

Process and manage customer orders efficiently.

Ensure timely delivery coordination with logistics teams and follow up on fulfillment.

Relationship Building

Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.

Provide excellent customer service, resolve complaints, and address feedback promptly.

Territory Management

Plan and execute regular sales visits within assigned territory.

Maintain updated records of customer visits, deals closed, and market feedback.

Market Intelligence

Gather information on competitors’ products, pricing, and promotions.

Provide reports and suggestions for improving product positioning and marketing strategies.

Promotions and Campaigns

Support promotional activities and campaigns initiated by the company.

Distribute samples, flyers, or run product demos when needed.

Reporting

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.

Keep records of targets, achievements, customer visits, and pending payments.

Payment Follow-Up

Ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding dues.

Work closely with the accounts team for payment reconciliation.
