Production Support Engineer – KwIDF/DOF/PROSPER (Oil & Gas)

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting Digital Oilfield operations in North Kuwait. The selected candidate will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to maintain and enhance the KwIDF system and its integration with critical applications.
Note: Experience in the Oil & Gas sector and with DOF/KwIDF systems is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Support North Kuwait’s KwIDF system and its integration with Finder, SCADA, EDM, and ALMS.
Conduct system condition reporting, real-time validation, and advisory solutions to alerts/alarms.
Maintain and troubleshoot DOF engine databases, physics models, and optimization workflows.
Provide Tier 1 support for the physics-based DOF engine.
Continuously update well and network models and system configurations.
Perform quality checks and ensure accurate real-time/static data availability.
Deliver mentoring and training sessions under KwIDF knowledge transfer initiatives.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:
7 to 13 years of experience in production support and digital oilfield systems.
Hands-on expertise with:
KwIDF, DOF engine
Well & network modelling tools (e.g., PROSPER, GAP, PETEX and Halliburton suite)
Real-time and static data validation
Proven experience in production surveillance and optimization.
Experience with integration of SCADA, Finder, EDM, and ALMS systems.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with reservoir simulation tools (NEXUS, Matbal, Eclipse).
Strong analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Knowledge of KPI-driven data quality assurance.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Client: Leading Oil & Gas Operator
Department: Digital Oilfield / Production Optimization
Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Mode: Contract Hire / Secondment (Under Brunel Visa & Payroll)
Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week, 8 Hours a Day
