Job Description
Prepare and review bills of quantities for project scope
– Verify quantities in subcontractor and vendor quotations
– Measure and validate completed work quantities for progress payment certification
– Prepare quantity-based progress reports
– Analyze quantity variances between estimated and actual values
– Support change management process by quantifying scope changes
– Collaborate with planning engineers to ensure quantity-based progress aligns with schedule-based progress
– Assist in the preparation of claims related to quantity variations
– Maintain quantity records and documentation for audit purposes
– Verify subcontractor payment applications against measured quantities
– Participate in technical reviews of subcontractor proposals
– Support cost engineers in accrual calculations based on quantity measurements
– Attend site visits to verify physical progress and quantities
– Coordinate with project engineers to resolve quantity-related technical issues
– Maintain quantity measurement standards and methodologies
Desired Candidate Profile
Any Nationality
Diploma(Mechanical)
Male
– Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in EPC projects
– Strong understanding of measurement principles and quantity takeoff methodologies
– Experience in various engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) quantity measurement
– Proficient in quantity surveying software and tools
– Knowledge of industry standard measurement methods (e.g., POMI, SMM7)
– Experience in contract measurement and payment certification
– Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve quantity discrepancies
– Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
– Experience in multi-discipline coordination within EPC environment
