Tendering & Estimation Engineer (Generators)

Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing competitive technical and commercial offers for generator projects, including sizing, configuration, BOQ, and costing, while coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
· Study tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements.

· Prepare load calculations and select suitable generator configurations.

· Develop cost estimates including equipment, accessories, labor, and logistics.

· Draft technical/commercial proposals, compliance statements, and data sheets.

· Liaise with suppliers for quotations and lead time information.

· Coordinate with design and project teams for technical clarifications.

· Maintain a database of standard costing and historical pricing.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in generator tendering/estimation.

· Strong understanding of generator sizing, fuel systems, sound attenuation, etc.

· Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and MS Project.

· Knowledge of local market pricing and vendor network is an advantage.
