Job Description
Production Support –
– Prior experience handling medium to large scale complex OCI tenancy hosting multiple applications, database and integration endpoints
– Troubleshoot and provide relevant resolutions to OCI platform related issues.
· Networking –
– Creation of VCN and subnets along with other resources like route tables, security list, NAT and internet gateway, NSG and service gateway.
– On premise connectivity using physical connections like IPSec VPN and Fast connect.
– Local and remote VCN peering with Local peering gateway (LPG) and remote peering connection.
– Understanding of transit networking implemented for proxy/firewall appliances servers.
– Creation and management of Load Balancer, listener, backend set along with routing policies.
– Managed OCI DNS services.
– API Gateway
– WAF
· Compute –
– Creation of instances using Oracle provided images, boot volumes or custom images.
– import/ export of images
– creation of golden images
– Provide access to Serial Console of an instance to troubleshoot any boot time issue.
· Storage –
– Volume management like creation, cloning, backup and copying backup to another region.
– Creation of Storage gateway for data migration to object storage bucket.
– Management of Object storage resources like buckets & Objects.
· IAM management –
– user and group creation, create policies and assign to users as per their roles.
· IaaC Automation (Terraform) –
– Develop and modify Terraform scripts for OCI infrastructure management and application deployments.
– Configured OCI CLI to manage infrastructure.
· Security –
– Experience in Cloud Guard, Vulnerability Scanning Service, Logging Analytics, logging and auditing.
– Configure OCI logging services, OCI Streaming, analyse logs, and implement monitoring solutions.
– Configure OCI Data guard recipes, monitor alert logs and take corrective actions.
– Monitoring alerts related to HSM and key management, DDoS, Cloud Guard etc.
– integrating logs with security tools like Splunk and SIEM tools.
