QC Piping Supervisor

Job Description

Conduct thorough inspections of piping systems during installation to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Review and approve welding procedures, ensuring they meet quality requirements and are executed correctly on-site.
Implement and maintain a robust quality control plan, documenting processes and results to track compliance and performance metrics.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify potential quality issues early in the project lifecycle, proposing preventive measures.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on piping materials to evaluate structural integrity and ensure safety compliance.
Facilitate training sessions for site personnel on quality standards and best practices related to piping installation and inspection.
Conduct root cause analysis for any non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring all work adheres to current best practices.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical)

Male

Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
A minimum of 10 years of direct QA QC experience in piping systems within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or construction industries is preferred.
Professional certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or International Welding Engineer (IWE) are highly regarded.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, API, and ISO is crucial for ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including ultrasonic and radiographic testing, is a key requirement.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools, such as MS Office and specialized QA QC applications, is beneficial.
Must have Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document.
Good technical knowledge of engineering codes and standards such as ASME B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME, API 570, AWS D1.1,
Working knowledge of inspection, measuring, and test tools, ITP study, pre-inspection, RFI management, RTR inspection, pressure test package, and P&ID review
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent written and spoken English communication skill
