Job Description
Performing various tests on telecom systems and components to verify performance and identify issues. This includes inspecting installations of fiber optics, communication cabling, grounding, CCTV, and other telecom equipment
Verifying that all installations adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, project specifications, and client requirements
Preparing and maintaining detailed QC documentation, including checklists, logs, and reports related to inspections and testing
Identifying any deviations from the required standards and reporting them to the appropriate personnel, ensuring corrective actions are taken
Ensuring that safety protocols are followed during all installation and testing activities
Conduct thorough inspections of telecommunications infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
Utilize advanced testing equipment to analyze signal quality and performance, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs and installations, ensuring they meet industry specifications and best practices.
Prepare detailed inspection reports that document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions needed for equipment and installations.
Monitor ongoing maintenance activities and ensure adherence to established schedules and service level agreements.
Evaluate vendor compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics for telecommunications services and equipment.
Technical knowledge of engineering codes and international standards in installation of telecom equipment and various cables (fiber optics, RF, coaxial)
Extensive experience in planning, controlling inspections, and contract scope of work in medium/large scale oil & gas, petrochemical industry

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field is essential for technical expertise.
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in telecommunications inspection or a similar technical role demonstrates proficiency.
Certifications such as Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS) or Telecommunications Certification Organization (TCO) are highly regarded.
Hands-on experience with telecommunications testing equipment and software is crucial for effective inspections.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site under varying conditions and challenges.
Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document.
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent written and spoken English communication skill
