Job Description

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain field instruments, sensors, transmitters, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other control systems associated with the SWRO process.
Ensure accurate and reliable measurements for key plant parameters (pressure, flow, conductivity, pH, temperature, etc.).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems to minimize downtime and maintain performance standards.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve system anomalies and improve process control strategies.
Calibrate instruments according to OEM specifications and maintain up-to-date calibration records and documentation.
Support the development and implementation of control logic modifications, software updates, and alarm management strategies.
Maintain documentation of I&C drawings, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, and P&IDs.
Interface with OEMs and third-party service providers during troubleshooting, upgrades, or major overhauls.
Ensure cybersecurity and integrity of automation systems in accordance with plant and regulatory guidelines.
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of instrumentation and control failures and propose mitigation measures.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards during all I&C-related activities.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Instrumentation)

Any

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, or Control Systems Engineering.
5+ years of experience in I&C maintenance within SWRO, power, water, or industrial process plants.
Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Schneider, GE).
Strong knowledge of field instrumentation and control loop tuning.
Familiarity with industry standards (ISA, IEC, IEEE) and best practices in automation and control.
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP PM or Maximo.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and support rotating or shift-based operations when required
