Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our premium meat retail team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about meat products, sales, and customer satisfaction. This role involves in-store and phone sales, handling online orders, inventory management, hygiene monitoring (HACCP), and ensuring high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assess customers’ needs, offer recommendations on premium meat cuts, origins (imported), aging, and cooking methods.
• Provide accurate product information, including pricing and after-sales services.
• Promote high-value cuts and specialty items to support upselling.
• Discuss available alternatives and creative cooking options with customers.
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing decisions.
• Cross-sell related merchandise and services.
• Handle customer inquiries in-store, over the phone, and via social media.
• Record new customer details and maintain a client database for future marketing and service.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers to support loyalty and repeat business.
• Take online orders, coordinate timely deliveries, and communicate requests clearly to the butchery team.
• Work closely with the butcher to ensure all orders are tailored to customer needs.
• Wrap and bag purchases in a clean and organized manner.
• Process payments accurately and manage financial transactions.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels, perform daily stock checks, and track product expiry dates.
• Ensure chillers are clean, well-stocked, and products are attractively displayed.
• Follow all HACCP, hygiene, and food safety regulations and ensure delivery vehicles are clean and temperature controlled.
• Monitor packaging inventory, expiration reports, and loss prevention activities.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and keep detailed records of sales and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including during opening and closing procedures.
• Submit required reports to management and participate in performance reviews.
• Count and reconcile daily cash transactions and update the daily sales report.
• Record customer feedback, preferences, and requests for unavailable items and follow up once available.
• Follow up with all customers—both in-store and online—to ensure satisfaction and report any complaints to the store manager.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in meat retail, fine butchery, or premium food sales.
• Deep product knowledge of meat cuts, quality standards, and origins (e.g., Wagyu, Angus, Lamb).
• Strong customer service and sales skills, with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including phone and online etiquette.
• Basic computer literacy, experience with POS systems, and online order management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with HACCP practices, food safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Culinary or butchery training is a strong advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic.
