Job Description

Conduct thorough inspections of welds using advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Review and interpret welding specifications, codes, and standards to ensure all welds meet project requirements.
Document and report findings accurately, providing detailed feedback to welding teams for continuous improvement.
Participate in quality audits and assist in the development of quality control plans tailored to specific projects.
Ensure that all welding equipment and materials are compliant with safety and quality standards prior to project commencement.
Stay updated with the latest welding technologies and standards to enhance inspection processes and methodologies.
Train and mentor junior inspectors on critical inspection techniques and industry best practices.
Maintain a comprehensive record of inspections and test results, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality management systems.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical)

Male

A degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential for a solid technical foundation.
Certification as a Welding Inspector (CWI or equivalent) is mandatory to validate expertise in the field.
Minimum 7yrs overseas experience as welding inspector in medium/large scale oil & gas, petrochemical industry
Working knowledge of NDT inspection (VT,RT,MT,PT,UT,DPT), RTFI, measuring, and test tools, ITP study, pre-inspection, RFI management, RTR inspection, pressure test package, and P&ID review
Good technical knowledge of engineering codes and standards such ASME B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1
Experience with a variety of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, is crucial for effective inspection.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, and API will set you apart as a candidate.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Spanish or French are a plus for international projects.
Excellent communication skills are vital for liaising with teams and documenting inspection results clearly.
Must have Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document
Proficient in MS Office applications
