Presales Engineer

Job Description

✅ Position Summary:

As a Presales Engineer, you will act as the technical bridge between our sales team and customers. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, presenting suitable product solutions, preparing technical submittals, and supporting the sales process to secure new business.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Engage with prospective clients to understand project requirements, specifications, and technical needs related to tiles, marble, granite, and stone products.

Prepare and deliver detailed product presentations, samples, mock-ups, and technical demonstrations to architects, contractors, consultants, and developers.

Provide accurate technical support to the sales team during bidding and negotiation phases.

Assist in preparing quotations, BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals as needed.

Coordinate with the production and design teams to ensure feasibility and accurate delivery timelines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor products, and new technologies in natural stone and surfacing materials.

Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings as required.

Ensure proper documentation of all technical proposals and client communications.

✅ Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a presales, technical sales, or project coordination role within the tiles, marble, granite, or building materials industry.

Strong knowledge of natural stones, tiles, and surfacing materials specifications and applications.

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Proficient in reading architectural drawings and understanding technical details.

Strong teamwork and client-handling skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CAD knowledge is an advantage.
