Senior Cost Estimation Engineer

Job Description

The Cost Estimation Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The Cost Estimation Engineer will work under the supervision of a Lead or Senior Engineer and his responsibilities will be as delegated and may comprise any, or all, of the following tasks.

At least Eight (12) years’ experience A minimum of Six (8) years of experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Capable of evaluating and consulting on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
