Job Description
Responsible for managing category of products, plan and execute on stocking and sell outs. Maintenance of relationship with vendors, channel and product management team. Drive the Business Units annually set MBOs.
1. Vendor Management
a. Develop Vendor Strategy
b. Pre-Contract Vendor Engagement and onboarding new vendors
c. Create Vendor bid document
d. Evaluate offers and select suppliers
e. Negotiate the contract
f. Manage the vendor relationship
g. On boarding new partners/ appropriate line of Businesses that company can engage in
2. Channel management
a. Maintaining fit between product, market and channel
b. Evaluating existing channels
c. Driving the executive meetings with channel partners during recruitment (onboarding new partners) and review.
d. Developing channels, gaining their support and commitment
