Junior Network Engineer

Job Description

Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, IP Telephony, wireless access points).

· Participate in on-site and remote implementations as part of a structured project team.

· Support the preparation of network implementation plans, configuration templates, and documentation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather network requirements and deliver technical solutions.

· Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues during and post-deployment.

· Maintain accurate records of configurations, IP allocations, and network diagrams.

· Follow change management processes and adhere to project deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Sri Lankan

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Computers)

Any

· 0–2 years of experience in a networking or IT implementation role.

· Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE4 or vendor-specific training.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).

· Familiarity with network hardware (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, or similar).

· Willingness to travel to clients or remote sites if required.

· Good problem-solving and time management skills.

Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
