Job Description

Al Tannaf Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the trading sector and experience in group-level financial management. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, UAE financial regulations, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports, statements, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards and local UAE regulations.

General Ledger Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with management.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and invoicing to Customers. Reconcile all accounts regularly.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAT laws and other UAE tax regulations. Handle tax filings and ensure timely submissions to authorities.

Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits. Prepare audit schedules and support documents as required.

Cost Control: Monitoring inventory systems. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights to support strategic decisions.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Ensure effective workload distribution and monitor performance to meet reporting deadlines.

System Implementation: Participate in the implementation of accounting systems, ensuring they are optimized for the company’s needs.

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with department heads, Managers, and Management to provide financial insights and support.
