Job Description

Diagnose and repair complex faults in air conditioning and chiller systems, including electrical and mechanical components, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and chiller equipment, such as filter changes, coil cleaning, and refrigerant checks, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Install new air conditioning and chiller systems, including ductwork and piping, ensuring compliance with all local codes and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and building automation systems (BAS).
Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement in system efficiency and energy consumption.
Respond to emergency calls and provide timely solutions to critical HVAC and chiller system failures, minimizing downtime.
Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including diagnoses, repairs, and parts used, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, through continuous learning and professional development.

Any

Has a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with air conditioning and chiller systems, demonstrating proven expertise.
Holds relevant certifications, such as EPA 608 (for refrigerant handling), and other industry-specific certifications.
Possesses a Diploma or Certificate in HVAC/R or a related technical field.
Displays excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues efficiently.
Exhibits proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of HVAC/R principles, including thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems.
