Job Description

Plan, prepare, and execute critical and complex lifts in oil & gas facilities (offshore platforms, refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects).
Review and follow engineered lift plans and method statements for high-risk lifts.
Inspect, select, and properly set up rigging equipment (slings, shackles, spreader bars, blocks, lifting beams).
Calculate load weights, sling angles, and center of gravity to ensure safe rigging configuration.
Direct crane operators using standard hand signals and radio communication.
Supervise rigging crews, ensuring compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and company safety policies.
Conduct Toolbox Talks and pre-lift safety briefings before operations.
Identify and mitigate hazards related to lifting in hazardous areas, confined spaces, and at height.
Maintain inspection records and certification documents for all rigging gear.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco GI-7.028, LOLER, OSHA, and LEEA safety standards.
