Job Description

The Site HSE Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across catering and facilities management operations at site level. This role ensures the implementation of robust HSE systems and promotes a culture of safety and compliance throughout the workforce.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and enforce site-wide HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with company and client requirements.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure all identified hazards are managed effectively.
Monitor adherence to local laws, regulatory requirements, and client-specific safety standards.
Lead and coordinate HSE inductions, training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for all employees and contractors.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate closely with Operations Managers, Catering Managers, and other departmental heads to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
Foster a proactive safety culture by encouraging hazard reporting, safe work practices, and continuous improvement.
Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation and records for audits, reporting, and client review.

Bachelors Degree with minimum 10 years of experience
Extensive experience in HSE management within catering, facilities management, or similar operational environments.
In-depth knowledge of local regulations, international standards, and industry best practices in HSE.
Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and compliance auditing.
Strong leadership, communication, and training skills to effectively manage site teams and influence a safety-first culture.
Ability to coordinate multiple sites and manage complex operational HSE requirements.
