Job Description

Convert designs into executable fabrication/erection drawings and secure first-time-right execution in shop and site, with clear progress reporting to the CEO. Reporting Line Reports to: CEO. Works closely with: Engineering Department, Shop Foremen, Site Supervisors.

Time Allocation • 30% Drafting & engineering support. • 70% On-site/shop supervision and coordination. Key Responsibilities

A) Drafting & Engineering Support (30%) • Produce shop/fabrication/erection drawings, BOM/BOQ, and cutting lists ready for production. • Use AutoCAD proficiently; experience with Tekla/Advance Steel or SolidWorks/Inventor is an advantage. • Perform buildability checks; apply weld symbols, tolerances, and finishing notes. • Issue clear Work Instructions to shop/site teams; update as-built drawings as required.

B) Supervision & Production Coordination (70%) • Organize metalwork production flow in the shop (sequencing, man-hour planning, basic 5S/lean practices). • Supervise daily execution in shop/site; verify full compliance with drawings (dimensions, welds, finishes). • Coach technicians and correct poor practices to raise workmanship and productivity. • Coordinate internal material/consumables flow (no purchasing authority). • Submit daily/weekly progress reports to the CEO (achievements, variances, needs, risks, photos). • Enforce HSE and site permit requirements.

Out of Scope (to prevent overlap) • Surveying/setting-out works. • Procurement/POs and vendor contracting. • Civil/MEP works not related to metal fabrications. Candidate Profile (Must-Have) • Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical or Civil (or equivalent) with proven shop/site experience in metal fabrication and erection. • Strong AutoCAD; plus Tekla/Advance Steel or SolidWorks/Inventor preferred. • Practical knowledge of welding details, finishing systems, and basic QC. • Good English (spoken/written); ability to brief multi-national crews. • GCC experience is preferred.

KPIs • First-Time-Right execution rate (shop/site). • Progress vs weekly plan (schedule adherence). • Rework/defect rate. • Timeliness & quality of progress reports. Compensation & Terms • Basic salary: SAR 3,000/month (negotiable based on portfolio and CAD proficiency). • Housing allowance: SAR 500/month. • Food allowance: Not provided. • Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 6 days/week; overtime per KSA Labor Law. • Contract: 2 years, renewable; 90-day probation. • Benefits (company-provided): visa/iqama, medical insurance, end-of-service, annual leave as per KSA Labor Law. • Leave & ticket: 30 calendar days every 24 months; round-trip economy ticket at contract completion.
