Job Description
The Lead Interface Engineer plays a pivotal role in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration
between all internal and external stakeholders involved in projects under Project Development & Engineering.
This role is responsible for managing interfaces across multiple discipline and organizations, ensuring
alignment of priorities, goals, and timelines. The role focuses on mitigating risks, resolving conflicts, and
enhancing efficiency throughout the project’s lifecycle by maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and
ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
Develop and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including governmental authorities, project teams, contractors, and partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for all interface and stakeholder-related matters.
Conduct regular stakeholder analysis and mapping to ensure all parties’ needs and expectations are identified and addressed.
Interface Management
Define and document the interfaces between different project components, departments, and external
parties.
Facilitate the resolution of interface issues and conflicts to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop and implement an Interface Management Plan (IMP) aligned with project objectives and
timelines.
Regulatory Compliance
Liaise with governmental and regulatory authorities to secure permits, approvals, and licenses required for project execution.
Ensure all interface activities comply with local, regional, and national regulations.
Coordination & Communication
Establish and manage a structured communication framework to enable smooth information flow between stakeholders.
Organize and lead interface coordination meetings, preparing agendas, action plans, and follow-ups.
Risk Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to interfaces and stakeholder engagement.
Develop contingency plans for potential interface-related challenges and conflicts.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of interface agreements, decisions, and communications.
Prepare regular reports on interface and stakeholder management performance, highlighting key issues, resolutions, and progress.
Process Improvement
Continuously review and improve interface management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness.
Provide recommendations for best practices and lessons learned to improve future projects.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mineral, Mining)

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Advanced certifications such as PMP, RMP, or equivalent are preferred.
Minimum Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in interface and stakeholder management, preferably in large- scale capital projects or the mining industry.
Proven track record of managing complex interfaces with multiple stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and international partners.
Skills:
Proficiency in interface management tools and software.
Strong understanding of local and international regulations related to project execution.
Expertise in stakeholder mapping and analysis.
Risk management and contingency planning.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
