Lifting and Rigging Engineer
Experience: 3-8 years
Should have GCC Experience

Location: Riyadh- Saudi Arabia
Position Summary:
The Lifting and Rigging Engineer is responsible for the planning, engineering, and oversee of lifting and rigging operations involving cranes, he ensures that all lifting activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed lift plans including selection of cranes, rigging equipment, and lifting techniques.
Conduct load calculations, center of gravity analysis, and stability assessments.
Design rigging systems (slings, shackles, spreader bars, lifting beams, etc.).
Prepare engineering drawings and method statements for complex or critical lifts.
Review and verify third party lift plans and technical documents.
Conduct site surveys to assess lifting conditions (ground bearing, obstructions, access).
Collaborate with construction teams, crane operators, and safety personnel.
Provide on-site technical support during major lifts.
Prepare risk assessments and method of statement
Experience:

Any GCC National
Any Graduation
Male
3–7 years experience in lifting and rigging on heavy construction environments , GCC preferred Skills: Strong understanding of lifting and rigging principles. Proficiency with engineering tools/software e.g., AutoCAD 2D/3D , Crane Bee , Lift planner etc,,, Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Familiar with industry standards and safety codes. Certifications Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) LEEA Lifting Supervisor certification
