Job Description

The Director Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain for a beverage company. This includes managing the procurement, production, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution of alcoholic products. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. The Director will establish and lead day-to-day procurement and logistics business activities, in accordance with policies agreed upon, goals, and objectives. The role would require obtaining optimum efficiency and the economy of operations. In addition, develop strategic short-term and long-term plans to cover operations, inventory maximization and logistics planning & performance.

• Experience using supply chain management software, ERP systems and tools.

• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts and negotiation terms.

• Good understanding of beverage sectoral business and its operating environment.

• Adequate knowledge of procurement and tender board regulatory norms and procedures.

• Knowledge of and experience in strategic planning, new business development and operations.

• Management, leadership, and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).

• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Highly organized and detail oriented.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive and self-motivated.

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
Experience

5+ years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably in the beverage industry
All round computer literacy in modern procurement & logistics systems.
Experience in the beverage industry or FMCG.
Multi-Industry experience.
