Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The role is responsible for designing MV/LV substations and switchgear solutions that meet customer requirements, international standards, and company quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical submittals, design drawings, fabrication drawings, and final as-built drawings.
Select electrical components and prepare accurate Bills of Material (BOM).
Review customer Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and provide optimized design solutions.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local distribution specifications.
Coordinate with internal teams and respond to customer feedback on submittals.
Support department targets through timely and accurate project deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
3–5 years’ experience in MV/LV substation and switchgear design.
Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and SEC/Municipality specifications.
Experience with electrical design tools, load calculations, and short circuit levels.
Familiarity with leading manufacturers (ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Eaton, etc.).
Good understanding of control diagrams, busbar sizing, cable sizing, and heat dissipation estimation.
Basic knowledge of control panel wiring, PLC wiring, and related systems.
