Job Description

Inspect and monitor all joinery and carpentry-related activities including cutting, assembling, finishing, and installation of woodwork.
Ensure that all materials used conform to approved specifications and samples.
Conduct in-process and final inspections of wooden furniture, cabinetry, wall panels, doors, and other custom joinery elements.
Review and verify material test certificates (MTC), method statements, and shop drawings prior to execution.
Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality assurance standards (ISO, project-specific guidelines).
Prepare daily inspection reports, snag lists, and QA/QC documentation.
Coordinate with production, site supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Ensure timely submission of QA/QC reports to the QA/QC Manager or client representatives.
Monitor storage and handling of timber, veneers, hardware, and finishes to prevent damage or deterioration.
Verify mock-ups and prototypes for design approval and consistency.

Diploma(Engineering), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil)

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in joinery or interior fit-out works.
Strong understanding of joinery production processes, materials (solid wood, veneer, MDF, laminate), and finishes.
Familiarity with international standards (ISO 9001, BS, ASTM) relevant to woodwork and quality assurance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Proficient in MS Office; experience in QA/QC software is a plus.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
