Commissioning Lead

Job Description

Lead all commissioning activities across PV and BESS systems from pre-commissioning through to final handover.
Develop and execute detailed commissioning plans, checklists, and schedules aligned with project milestones.
Supervise and coordinate testing activities, including FAT, SAT, functional testing, and performance testing.
Interface with engineering, construction, HSE, and quality teams to ensure readiness for commissioning.
Manage contractor and vendor involvement in commissioning tasks and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot system issues during commissioning and coordinate resolution.
Oversee and ensure proper documentation, including ITPs, test reports, punch lists, and turnover packages.
Report commissioning progress, risks, and critical issues to senior management.
Ensure all commissioning activities are conducted safely and in compliance with local regulations and international best practices.
Support operational readiness and handover to the operations team.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical)

Any

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of commissioning experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Proven track record of leading commissioning on both PV solar and BESS projects.
In-depth knowledge of grid compliance, electrical testing procedures, and energy storage systems.
Familiarity with relevant international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ISO).
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
